Foreign nationals insured within the Czech public health system
Present before examination
- Identity card,

EHIC - European Health Insurance Card issued in the Czech Republic (CZ).
It pays regulatory fees.
If the patient cannot prove a valid health insurance card issued in the Czech Republic and it is necessary to verify the health insurance, a fee of CZK 100 will be charged for the verification.
Foreign nationals not insured in the Czech public health system
A patient who is not insured in the public health system of the Czech Republic, a person from EU countries, other countries of the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland or other contracting countries, insured in one of these states submits:
- Identity card,
- EHIC - European Health Insurance Card or replacement certificate and confirmation of claim
or
- Identity card,

and form S2 for planned healthcare in a country outside the country of own insurance

After submitting these documents, the patient is entitled to the provision of health care to the extent stated in the registration of the Czech public health insurance company, which becomes his / her assisting health insurance company during his / her stay in the Czech Republic.
It pays regulatory fees.
The citizens outside EU, EEA, Switzerland and other contracting states
The citizens not insured in any of those states
The citizens provided with the healthcare beyond the range of health insurance
The citizens not guaranteed any payment for medical examination by insurance fund
Provides proof of identity.
EMERGENCY
Any overpayment from the advance payment for the provided medical services will be returned to the client's bank account. The cost of health care, the price of which will not be known at the time of reimbursement, shall be charged by the Provider additionally and the Client shall pay.
Payment can be made in Czech currency, we prefer contactless payment (by card). Where to pay: during working hours at the cash register and in the Department of Reimbursement of Health Care (building F1), continuously at the Assistance and Information Service (, building CH, 24/7), or in cash at the relevant department.
HOSPITALIZATION
The medical care provided is fully covered by the patient, and the deposit of 100% of the anticipated costs is paid in advance. It does not pay regulatory fees.
The insured within a private insurance fund
Submitted by:
- proof of identity and proof of health insurance
- basic health insurance for foreigners
- health insurance for foreigners
- other insurance
After submitting these documents, the patient is entitled to receive health care under the insurance contract. Before starting the examination we require a guarantee certificate of the health insurance company.
It does not pay regulatory fees.
